Apostle Johnson Suleman, Senior Pastor and General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries (OFM) International, escaped unharmed when his convoy was attacked Friday evening, October 21, along Warake Road in Auchi, Edo State.
Four police officers, one driver, and a woman have been confirmed dead.
The internet is awash with gory videos of the attack and bodies.
"Apostle Johnson Suleman just got off the phone with me now," tweeted @iamoodickson.
He escaped Assassins this afternoon. Sadly his 7 members were all gunned down.”

The deceased are shown in graphic videos on the internet lying on the floor in a pool of their own blood.
The incident occurred barely six weeks after Anambra Senator Andy Ubah's convoy was attacked.
Some of the security guards and two aides were killed by bullets.
