 The Nigerian Nollywood industry has produced a lot of greatest Nollywood actors of all time tagged "Best Nigerian Actors" .

Nigerian Nollywood had made a lot of impact since its recognition. It has come to grow rapidly between 1990 and 2000 to gain the second largest producer of movies annually in terms of volume.

9. MIKE EZURUONYE

Mike has received two nominations to himself for Best Nollywood Actor in a Supporting Role and Best Nollywood Actor in a Leading Role at the African Movie Academy Awards in 2008 and 2009. 

The actor started writing script and working behind the camera from a very tender age which helped him in developing his career in Nollywood industry today.

He went into acting after graduating from Nnamdi Azikiwe University.

8. KENNETH OKONKWO

The actor who is popularly known as Andy Okeke from the movie titled “Living in Bondage”, was born at Nsukka in Enugu state.

He gained popularity after featuring in his first movie "Living in Bondage".

7. DESMOND ELLIOT

The Pan-african as he mostly say, was born to a Yoruba man while his mother hails from one of the Igbo states.

When it comes acting, Desmond could be very creative which has made way for him to feature in over 200 movies in the Nollywood industry.

Van Vicker was born on August 1, 1977 to a Dutch father by a Liberian Ghanaian mother. 

As one of the most talented actors in Nigerian Nollywood Industry, Vicker has won Afro-Hollywood Award for Best Actor (African film category) and also has a talent haunt foundation in his name.

The skillful actor was born to an Israeli father in Edo State, Nigeria on 16th July,1973.

Ramsey Nouah won the African Movie Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role due to his performance in the movie titled “The Figurine" in 2010.

4. ANAYO MODESTUS ONYEKWERE

Popularly known as Kanayo O. Kanayo was born March 1, 1962, in Mbaise, Imo State.

The talented actor was first featured in the movie"Living in Bondage", since then he has featured in over 100 movies.

He decided to quit acting in 2012 to serve God after he won the African Movie Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role in 2006.

3. RICHARD MOFE DAMIJO (RMD)

A renowned actor and politician, started acting after featuring in soap operas.

Mofe-Damijo who's known as the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Delta State, Nigeria won the award for Best Actor in a Leading Role in 2005 at the maiden edition of the African Movie Academy Awards.

Enugu born actor, popularly known as Osuofia is known for his hilarious movie when it comes to acting. He has won the African Movie Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role to himself.

acting business for decades.

The Enugu born actor,(7th March 1947) has featured in over 200 movies. He has won several awards to himself in Nollywood Industry.
