The Social Democratic Party (SDP) Presidential Candidate, Prince Adewole Adebayo, and his running mate, Engr. Yusuf Salisu Buhari, attended the 2022 Ekimogun day festival in Ondo State's ancient Ondo Kingdom.
The presidential candidate, who praised those in positions of leadership in the state, promised to transform the state if elected.
While pledging his continued support for the people, he stated that streets in Ondo town will be illuminated and portholes will be repaired.
He then promised that if people like himself are elected to office, Ondo will be transformed into Dubai.
On behalf of his wife, Queen Lillian Adebayo, Prince Adebayo donated N3 million at the event.
The Ekimogun Day celebration in Ondo State is an annual event in which Ondians and their friends from far and wide celebrate the ancient town turned city's unity, love, culture, and tradition.
Every year in the first week of December, the people of the ancient Ondo Kingdom gather to celebrate their cultural heritage and traditions.
