Ifeanyi Adeleke, the three-year-old son of Davido and his fiancee, Chioma Rowland, has died.
On Monday, October 31, a tragic death occurred. Ifeanyi drowned at his father's Banana Island home. He was airlifted to Evercare Hospital in Lekki, where he was pronounced dead.
The couple had gone to Ibadan for a family gathering yesterday and had left Ifeanyi with his minders, who are baffled as to how he entered the pool without being noticed and drowned.
We learned that several people were arrested at Davido's House at the time of the incident.
Davido was taken from Evercare Hospital, distraught and inconsolable, and taken to his father's house, where he remains.
Several of Davido's industry contacts are in the hospital this evening.

Prior to Ifeanyi's death, Davido was seen earlier today teaching him how to swim.
In social media videos, the Electricity singer can be seen with Ifeanyi inside his mansion's large pool.
Davido carried the three-year-old boy and told him to flap his legs in the water while giving him instructions.
As the energetic boy flapped his legs, the music star carried Ifeanyi around the pool.
Davido, clearly impressed by his son's performance, was overheard remarking on how quick he learned.
"This one go learn quick," he said.
Ifeanyi's parents, Chioma and Davido, had lavishly celebrated his third birthday before his tragic and unexpected death.
Davido and Chioma's death comes just years after Nigerian singer Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, better known as D'banj, and his wife Lineo Didi lost their first child in a drowning accident in 2018.
This is heartbreaking. May God grant Davido and Chioma the strength to bear this terrible loss.
