Nigeria's 1999 Constitution Has An Ingredient That Could Fix Nigeria — Prince Adewole Adebayo

The Social Democratic Party's (SDP) Presidential Candidate, Prince Adewole Adebayo, has stated that the Nigeria 1999 Constitution contains elements that could help the country.

According to the SDP Presidential Candidate, Chapter Two of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Constitution contains both the government's responsibilities to the citizens and what the citizens should do for the country.

In a recent exclusive interview with Voice of Nigeria (VON), Adebayo stated that if elected President in 2023, he will ensure that Nigeria's government is based on the country's constitution.

He went on to say that: “the constitution is a very ingredient in fixing the country”.

He emphasized that Chapter 2 of Nigeria's constitution is critical to the country's growth and development.

“If we want to fix Nigeria, we need to make up our mind; everybody is part of the problem, for me, I want to fix the country, my spanner is the truth, the government can stop insecurity, Nigerians don’t hold the government accountable”

He went on to say that the task of fixing the country is the responsibility of all Nigerians, and that it is wrong for young people and women to demand money before supporting or voting for a specific candidate, but that they should vote for the candidate of their choice.

He also urged Nigerian youths, women, and voters to resist the temptation of collecting money from politicians in order to vote them into power.
