While watching over Queen Elizabeth II's coffin, a guard reportedly fainted and fell.

A video circulating online shows the uniformed guard stumbling to his right twice before regaining his balance.

Shortly after, the guard fell from the red podium onto the floor, and several officials and police officers rushed to his aid.

The late Queen's lying in state is expected to be opened to the public at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, with hundreds of thousands of people expected to file past to pay their respects until September 19, the day of the funeral.

The Sovereign's Bodyguard, the Household Division, and the Yeoman Warders of the Tower of London are always on duty to protect the Queen's coffin.

After more than 48 hours of waiting outside in all weather conditions, the coffin was taken out of Buckingham Palace for the final time on Wednesday in front of tens of thousands of people.
