Popular music Icon, Olubankole Wellington known as Banky W has made his intentions known to run for House of Representatives again in 2023.
The music icon who's contesting under the platform of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), made this known on his social media handles, instagram and twitter.
Recall, the famous pop singer contested for the same seat in 2019 on the Modern Democratic Party platform but unfortunately he didn't make it.
However, the singer is not giving up as he is fully ready for it again come 2023.
"Tomorrow we declare. And then we move. DM @thebworg if you'd like to join us tomorrow, we need as many people as possible. We need you. We must engage with Nigeria where it is, not where we prefer for it to be.
In 2019, we planted the seed. In 2023, by the grace of God, and with your support, we will win the seat. The time for just talking about our problems is over. It's time to #TalkAndDo. I hope and pray that I can count on you to support, share and join the movement"...he said.
